What is the minimum order for boxes?

The minimum order is generally 500 pieces per size and design. This MOQ applies to artcard boxes, corrugated mailers, and rigid boxes. Below this quantity, setup costs such as printing, die-cutting, and lamination make the unit price higher.

Do prices get cheaper if I order more?

Yes. The higher the quantity, the lower the unit cost, because the same setup cost is shared across more pieces. As a rough idea, moving from 500 pieces to 1,000 pieces can reduce unit cost by around 15% – 25%, and larger runs usually give even better efficiency.

What information do you need to give me a fast box quotation?

To quote faster and more accurately, please provide:

  • Box size (L × W × H) and open size (dieline) if you have it
  • Quantity
  • Material (artcard, kraft, corrugated flute type, or rigid)
  • Finishing (matte/gloss lamination, foil, embossing, etc.)
  • Artwork or draft design
  • Delivery postcode for logistics costing

How long is the lead time from artwork approval to delivery?

Typical lead time is around 2–3 weeks after final artwork confirmation, depending on current production load. During peak seasons like Raya, Chinese New Year, or Christmas, it is safer to allow an extra week.

What are your payment terms for box orders?

Standard terms are 50% deposit and balance before delivery. Credit terms or instalment options may be discussed and are subject to approval.

Can you show me a sample before mass production?

Yes. After the artwork is confirmed, you can choose a blank mock-up or a printed prototype. Both are chargeable. This is useful to confirm structure, size, and colour before going for a full run.

What if the colour or size comes out wrong?

If the result is outside the agreed tolerance, we will either remake or compensate according to Packtica’s policy. Your consultant will guide you through the claim process if needed.

Are you using eco-friendly paper?

Yes. We can propose FSC-certified options. If you need the certificate, we can provide it. For ESG-focused brands, a Packtica consultant can suggest more sustainable combinations like unlaminated or water-based coated surfaces.
